The heart of the institute
Classes & teachings
Everything here is taught as a craft. You will learn what a plant does, what a stone holds, how a working is laid out, and why — with the reasoning left in rather than hidden behind ceremony. Students of every level sit in the same room, and no prior study is assumed.
Every course below carries its own entry: what it covers, its syllabus session by session, and what a student takes away from it. Enrolment is by inquiry, and the rooms are small.
Classes & teachings
The areas of study
Six areas, taught in small groups. You may begin anywhere; most students begin with herbalism or stones and find the rest follow naturally.
Schedule
Upcoming classes
Dates are posted as they are confirmed. Seats are small — reserve early, or ask to be placed on the waitlist.
Enrollment
Ask to join a class
Tell us which area interests you and a little about where you are starting from. We will write back with what is open, what it costs, and when the next group begins.
Beginners are genuinely welcome here — say so plainly and we will place you well.
Where a class leads
After the room
Everything taught in these rooms has a shelf behind it — the herbs you cut and dried, the stones you cleansed, the books you read from — and one door further on for the few who want the work carried past the classroom.
What is taught here is bought here, and carried further by those who want it.
