The people who sit in the room
A school is its students. This page holds what they have said about us, a place for you to add your own, and plain answers to the questions people write in with most.

Words from the room
We would rather print what students actually say than dress up a compliment. These are theirs, in their own words.

Notes from the room
We would rather print what students actually say than dress up a compliment. If a class, a stone, or a word from us stayed with you, leave it here — with your permission we publish it under your first name, exactly as you wrote it.
Nothing here yet — this space is kept for the people who fill it.
We would rather publish a genuine word from a student than an invented one. If you have studied with us, the box below is yours; the first notes go up as they arrive.

Leave a note
A sentence is enough. Say what the class was, what it did for you, or what you would tell someone considering it. Write it the way you would say it.
Tell us whether you are happy for it to be published. If you would rather it stayed private, we will read it and keep it to ourselves.
Questions we are asked
Before you write to us
Do I need any experience to begin?
None at all. Most students arrive knowing nothing and leave their first class able to do something real. Experience is welcome, never required, and never used to make anyone feel late.
Is any particular belief required?
No. We teach practice and material, not doctrine. You are not asked to profess anything, and healthy skepticism is welcome in the room.
How large are the classes?
Deliberately small — capped so that every student handles the material and has their questions answered. When a class fills we open another rather than expand it.
Can I buy the materials without taking a class?
Yes. The shop is open to everyone, and the herbs, oils, stones and books are all stocked and shipped. You never have to enroll to buy.
What is the member program, exactly?
A private, application-only mentorship in which we teach the methods for building a business, establishing credit accounts, and acquiring land, property and assets — and perform most of the footwork ourselves. Details are on the member page.
Is anything about my application or my practice private?
Everything. Applications are read only by the institute, and no member's participation is ever published or discussed.
